The words that we speak have great power. They are declarations of life or death. What are you speaking in the heat of the moment? What are you saying about yourself? Your spouse or children? What are you saying about your job or the lack of one? Are you speaking life or death; good or evil?

Let us be mindful of the words that we speak. And with our words let us build up, rather than tear down.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21).
